Meet the Founder
Hi, I’m James Williams. Founder of Family Dreams Consulting.
Family Dreams Consulting was created from a deeply personal place. As my husband and I began navigating our own surrogacy journey, I experienced firsthand how complex, emotional, and overwhelming the path to parenthood can be. Especially for LGBTQ+ couples entering systems that aren’t always designed with us in mind. What began as a personal journey quickly became a professional calling.
To better serve families walking this path, I pursued formal education and training to provide both practical guidance and emotional support. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Theology, which shaped my foundation in ethics, compassion, and human-centered care. I am also a Certified Life Coach, trained to support individuals and couples through mindset shifts, emotional resilience, and major life transitions. In addition, I have completed professional training in surrogate support to better guide intended parents through the surrogacy process with clarity and confidence.
My work combines structured consulting with heart-centered coaching. I help intended parents understand the surrogacy process, prepare for agency and clinic interactions, navigate emotional challenges, and build strong alignment within their partnerships.
